Terms and conditions are rather technical and we're sorry if they sound rather formal. However, they are pretty standard and designed to enhance your e-shopping experience and make it as easy and secure as possible.

The terms and conditions apply to all transactions on this site, freetalk.me. By placing an order with us, you agree to accept these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. They do not affect your statutory rights.

We may change these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will take effect on the date they are posted onto the site (see date above). You will be asked to read and accept the terms and conditions each time you place an order, to ensure that you are familiar with the most current ones.

The Freetalk store is owned and operated by Freetalk Connect. Our company registered address is 11/F, Block 02, 101 King’s Road, North Point, Hong Kong. Through its websites, Freetalk Connect offers business and consumer electronics hardware, software and services.

 

Using our website

 

The copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property rights in all materials on the websites (including photographs and graphical images) are owned by Freetalk Connect or its partners or suppliers. You may download or print such content for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Any other use of these materials is strictly forbidden.

 

Placing an order

 

When placing an order, please check carefully that all information given is accurate and complete.

Payment for all orders must be made in advance by credit or debit card. We accept payment from most major credit and debit cards as well as PayPal.

In the unlikely event that a product is shown on our website, but is unavailable, we will contact you to inform you that your order cannot be accepted and will refund any payment taken from you in full.

When we have accepted your order, we will send you an email (to the email address given in your order) confirming your products ordered, payment method, cost and usual delivery times and delivery address. Once this confirmation email has been sent, a contract for the delivery of your goods will exist between you and Freetalk Connect.

 

IMPORTANT: Our site contains a large number of products and it is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the products listed on our site may be incorrectly priced. We will normally verify prices as part of our dispatch procedures so that, where a product's correct price is less than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount when dispatching the product to you. If a products correct price is higher than the price stated on our site, we will normally, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before dispatching the product, or reject your order and notify you of such rejection.

 

Delivery

 

Goods will be sent to the address given by you in your order. If you are ordering more than one item, your goods may be sent to you in installments. We will not charge you extra delivery costs for this.

Our typical transit time globally is 5-9 business days, but shipments often arrive faster than that! Freetalk Connect Merchant Stores offer free shipping. As we are shipping globally, delivery to some locations can take up 15 business days depending on conditions and subject to unexpected delays in clearing local customs. When orders shipped internationally reach the destination country, they may be subject to customs clearance procedures that can cause delays beyond original transit estimates. If you believe your order has been lost or have not received it after 15 business days days please contact us at at Freetalk.me so we will track the shipment and let you know of the current status.

 

Cancelling your order

 

Change of Mind Cancellation

 

We accept returns of items in ‘as new’ condition from the Freetalk online store within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. The product must be returned to us with all its original packaging and accessories, including the retail box, manuals, cables, and all other items originally included with the product. Faulty Goods

 

In case you were sent a faulty item we will replace it within warranty terms, please see our warranty terms for further details. If you decline the replacement item and would prefer a refund you will first need to return the item back to us at your cost. All returns for a refund will be subject to a 15% restocking fee.

 

Liability

 

Our liability for losses you suffer as a result of us breaking this agreement, (whether or not we do so on purpose) is limited to the purchase price of the product you purchased from us plus any losses which are a foreseeable result of us breaking the agreement. By “foreseeable” we mean where they could be anticipated by you and us at the time your order is accepted by us.

However, we do not exclude liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
  • Breaches of section 2(3) of the UK Consumer Protection Act 1987;
  • Any deliberate breaches of these terms and conditions by us that would entitle you to terminate the contract between us; or
  • Any matter for which it would be illegal for us to exclude, or attempt to exclude, our liability.

Except for claims for loss of or damage to your physical property which fall into the categories listed above, we are not responsible for indirect losses which happen as a side effect of the main loss or damage and which are not foreseeable by you and us and even if such losses result from a deliberate breach of these terms and conditions by us that would entitle you to terminate the contract between us, including but not limited to:

  • loss of income or revenue
  • loss of business
  • loss of profits or contracts
  • loss of anticipated savings
  • loss of data
  • loss of data, or
  • waste of management or office time however arising and whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract or otherwise , even if foreseeable;

Freetalk Connect does not accept liability for any loss caused by delay in the delivery of products ordered.

Law and Jurisdiction

 

These terms and conditions, and all transactions relating to this website and all non-contractual obligations arising from any transaction carried out on this website are governed by English law and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. We do not accept amendments to these terms and conditions.
